I'm so excited Sparklets!

We got to meet Bella and Zendaya from Disney's Shake It Up! On their current tour of the UK.

We got to ask loads of fab questions and Bella and Zendaya both admitted to being 'obsessed' with One Direction - just like us!

Zendaya said she would love to see them on Shake It Up! Bella admitted she goes weak at the knees at the mention of Harry Styles! Bella said "He's my favourite with his pretty eyes and really sweet hair, he has a very nice style"

They are just totally lovely, and they love Sparkle World.... Check out the fab picture!

Hi all our Sparklets out there!

So I have to tell you all about meeting Selena Gomez! It was one of the most exciting days of my life. Selena and her band, The Scene, sang three songs on stage and us Sparkle Girls got to watch from right up the front! The music was really rockin' and Selena looked so glam when she was singing.

Afterwards, we met Selena and had a nice long chat about lots of different things. When we walked into the room, she was snacking on a big jar of sweets - yum! She was really funny and cracked lots of jokes, and best of all, she was wearing the sparkliest pair of high heels we've ever seen. You could tell she loved them, because she showed us all and said she'd been wearing them for three days straight!

Have you ever met anyone famous? Who would you reeealllly like to meet? Maybe us Sparkle Girls can arrange an interview with them! Check out our Selena Gomez interview in Sparkle World issue 127, on sale the 1st of September!

Hi girls!

Here in Sparkle World HQ (that's headquarters!), we have been a bit sad now the Royal Wedding is over and done with. It was soooo great to see a real-life Princess being made! We love Princesses, their dresses, tiaras, and the beautiful castles they live in.

Speaking of Princesses, did you hear that Tangled is coming out on DVD really soon?! It will be in shops on May 23rd, but don't worry if you can't convince your Mum to buy it for you! We'll be giving away five copies of Tangled on DVD plus five copies of the Tangled for Nintendo DS game!

Hi Sparklets!

I hope everyone had a super-sparkly Christmas and New Year! We had a lovely party for the Sparkle World team, everyone ate waaaay too much pudding and wore silly hats. How did you celebrate the holidays?

We're all so happy that the sun has come out. It may still be chilly but at least the sky is blue! Although for some of our friends in other parts of the world, it's summer.... lucky girls!

It's Friday and here in the Sparkle World office we're getting excited. Not only because it's the weekend, but because it's officially the Christmas season! Well, maybe not officially until December 1, but whatever - we're loving it!

Presents are one of the best things about Christmas, but we were thinking, why only have presents on special occasions? I was talking to Deb, Emma and Helen about this, and we all agreed that it would be so fantastic to get gifts all the time, for no reason at all... So we came up with a plan.

Hi Sparklets!

We have so much to tell you I don't even know where to start! It's Em's birthday today (can you guess how old she's turning? Email us your guesses!) so we tried to make her a beautiful cake. Well, we made her a cake, but I don't know how beautiful it was! Helen said it looked like a sandcastle, Lou thought it was a puppy dog, but I knew it was meant to be a flower! If your cake-making skills are better than mine, why don't you upload a picture of one you've made into the crafts gallery? The prizes you can win are soooo cute!

The other exciting news this week is Halloween. The Sparkle Girls have been busy making their costumes in the craft room. Lou is going as a kitty cat, Helen as a witch and Em as a vampire, eeek! I've been so jumpy when they put their costumes on - still, I can't wait to go trick-or-treating on Halloween night! But what about me... what should I go as? Let me know if you have any cool ideas and hey, if you make your own costume, show us a pic in the craft gallery!

Hello Sparklets!

How are you all?  We're so busy in the Sparkle World office at the moment, there's so much going on and we've all been inspired by the new season of the X Factor, so everywhere you go there's someone singing into a hairbrush or practicing a few sneaky dance moves in the craft room!

I've also heard about a really great choir competition called Young Voices that you can get your school choir involved in when term starts again in a couple of weeks time.

Young voices is the largest Children’s choir concert in the world and gives school choirs the opportunity to be a part of a UK wide arena tour, alongside some of our finest young talent.  This year Young Voices will be performing in the O2 Arena in London and in similar venues in Manchester, Birmingham and Sheffield.

An Impressive 80,000 singers will participate in the concerts, singing alongside  the ever so talented Dionne Bromfield, the Beautiful All Angels and some of Island Records hottest new talent.

We think this sounds like an amazing opportunity for all you budding songbirds out there, so if you're interested in getting your school choir involved why don't you visit their website www.bigsing.com so that you can give your music teacher all the details when you go back to school in September.

All this talk of singing has made the Sparkle World Team wonder if we might be able to start our own group and even write a song about Sparkle World - wouldn't that be great?

Hello Sparkletts!

We're so excited because the Sparkle World team have been invited to interview some of the young stars of the fabtastic Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang film which is coming out on DVD soon and we were wondering if you guys could help us out by emailing any questions you might have about the film to us at mysparkleworld@redan.com  

We need all your questions by Friday and whilst we're not exactly sure which of the child stars we'll be interviewing yet, it looks very likely that we'll be talking to the actor and actress who play Vincent Green and Celia Gray and possibly some of the other members of the cast - so get typing and we'll do our best to put your questions to them!

Hi Sparkletts!

I've just been talking to my friend Ellie from the Disney Channel and she's been filling me in on all the really cool things that are happening in the run up to Camp Rock 2 - The Final Jam which is out in September!  

She was telling me about some amazing dance auditions that Disney Channel held in London a week or so ago when over 200 kids turned out to audition to be backing dancers for the singing contest My Camp Rock 2.   Four finalists have been chosen to compete for the title of My Camp Rock 2 champion and the "sing off" will be shown on Disney Channel at the end of the Summer - we can't wait!

The dance auditions sound so exciting!! Apparently the dance group Flawless from Britain's Got Talent were there and everyone was really excited to meet them. They showed off some of their dance moves while the crowd was queuing outside and also lent their support in the dance studio.

Dancers lucky enough to get a call back were given a sneak peek listen to a song from Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam and taught a dance routine by Beth Honan, who was the choreographer for Cheryl Cole’s Fight For This Life video.

I was so jealous when I heard about it all, but I can't wait to watch the show, nevermind Camp Rock 2 when it comes out!  And the best thing is that Ellie has promised that we're going to have access to some exclusive interviews and activities from the cast of Camp Rock 2 in the run up to its launch - so watch this space for loads more FAB Camp Rock news!

Hi there Sparkletts!

This is my first blog on the website, I'm usually quite shy, but the other girls persuaded me to get typing so I thought I'd give it a go! 

Did you watch the final of Britain's Got Talent on Saturday night? I thought Spelbound were amazing!  I couldn't believe it when one of the them was thrown over the top of the judges heads, it must take such a lot of time and effort to get to be that good at gymnastics, it just goes to show, if you work hard and follow your dreams, anything's possible!

I'm so looking forward to the start of the World Cup, I really hope England beat the USA on Saturday and will be watching with my sparkly England cowboy hat on!  I've got the rest of the Sparkle World team coming over for a World Cup party, so I'm going to make some England Cup Cakes and hang some pretty bunting up in my sitting room - I can't wait!

I'm also going to be watching the new Disney Channel Sitcom, Good Luck Charlie on Saturday morning, there's a clip of it on Sparkle World TV and it looks really funny, so I don't want to miss that!

Anyway, I'd better go and see what's going on with the latest issue of Sparkle World Magazine, I've just seen how many cool prizes we're going to be giving away in July, I wish I could enter the competitions!

How’s everyone doing?  Are you loving our new website?  We’re so excited that so many of you have come online and joined our club!  I’ve just been playing one of our new colouring games in the Glitzy Games section, I think they are my favourite so far, although Lou prefers the word searches – I think she’s getting addicted to playing them!

Deb was telling me yesterday that she can’t wait to get into the office in the morning to see all the new Pet Cuties that have been uploaded overnight – aren’t you guys lucky to have such sparklicious pets?  And Em’s been very impressed by some of the crafts you’ve been making, some of the cupcake pictures have been making us hungry!

Have you watched the new Disney Channel movie Starstruck yet?  I’ve had the song Hero stuck in my head all weekend and apparently I’m even humming it as I write this blog!

Anyway guys I’d better go and help put the finishing touches to the next fab-tastic issue of Sparkle World magazine!

Guess what? I’ve just been talking to some of our wonderful junior reporters about what they’ve been up to for the launch of our fabtastic new website! Take a look in the film reviews section to read Rachel’s review of the hilarious new film Furry Vengeance, not only did she get to go to the super fun preview showing, she also got to interview one of the stars – Matt Prokop - who starred in HSM3! She told me that Matt was super-nice to her and she especially liked his advice on becoming a super star! You can see clips from the interview and the trailer for the film on the Sparkle World TV.

This weekend our little fairy reporters Leila and Pia are going to the pink carpet premiere of the new Rainbow Magic film, so you can read their review of that on Monday!! But if you just can’t wait you can watch the trailer for the film in the Sparkle World TV section now!

Hi Sparkletts!

It’s Deb here and I’m so excited to be writing the first ever blog for our sparkletastic new website! We really hope you enjoy everything on our site and I can’t wait to see all your great craft and pet photos!! Have you joined the club yet?
